Lions fans ready for the Riders

The BC Lions Football Club today announced that additional sections in the upper bowl of BC Place have been opened up to accommodate a strong demand for tickets for the team’s Sunday, August 24th game versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders presented by Save On Foods.

“We’re a little less than a month away, but it’s already tracking to be our biggest crowd of the season with tickets selling very briskly. To keep up with demand, we are now opening up prime seats in sections of the upper bowl behind the visiting team bench,” said president and CEO Dennis Skulsky.

As an added attraction that night, the Lions will be wearing their tremendously popular gunmetal grey and black jerseys. The Lions defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina earlier this month by a 26-13 margin and only face their heated division rivals once more this season making the August 24th rematch of vital importance for both clubs.
