Acquired:

Clemons was signed as a free agent by the Lions in May 2025.

College:

2022-23: Clemons played in all 12 contests at linebacker for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, and recorded 16 stops on the year (10 solo) with two for loss and one sack. In 2023, Clemons played in nine games and finished with 31 tackles, including 17 solo tackles. He made five-straight starts to open the season and had seven total. Clemons led the team in sacks with 5.5 and added team-best 11 tackles for loss.

2019-21: Clemons played in 13 out of 14 games for the Memphis Tigers as a true freshman and finished the season with 15 tackles (eight solos). He added five quarterback hurries and two sacks and recorded his first collegiate sacks against SMU. In 2020, Clemons appeared in nine games with four starts on the year. He totalled 19 tackles (12 solo), with three tackles for loss and one sack. He also had three passes defended and one pass breakup.

Personal:

In high school, Clemons earned MAC Class 6A All-State Second Team Honors as a junior and Columbus Dispatch All-Area Second Team honors as a sophomore.
