Orange fever is set to take over Vancouver during the 102nd Grey Cup Festival November 26-30. Key landmarks across Metro Vancouver will light up in orange for the duration of the 102nd Grey Cup Festival as organizations pledge their support for the November event.
BC Place, Canada Place, TELUS World of Science, the control tower at Vancouver International Airport, and Vancouver City Hall are among the participating organizations that will highlight their buildings in orange, the colour of both the 102nd Grey Cup Festival and the host team BC Lions.
“Vancouver will be electric during the Festival and many local landmarks will represent that excitement visually by adding orange to our great skyline,’ said Jamie Pitblado, General Manager for 102nd Grey Cup Festival. “It will likely be nine years before Vancouver hosts the Grey Cup Festival again so we encourage the local business community to join the ROAR on the Shore and help paint the town orange for the last week of November.”
Participating Organizations include:
BC Place
Canada Place
Creekside Community Centre TELUS World of Science Vancouver City Hall
Vancouver International Airport Vancouver Lookout
