BCLions.com Staff

BC Lions players including Travis Lulay, Dean Valli, Adam Bighill, ShawnGore, Jason Arakgi, Rolly Lumbala, Casey Chin, Cody Husband, Matt McGarva and Andre Ramsey will be out in the community this coming week in support of the Be More Than A Bystander program and Football BC’s Senior Bowl preparations.

Launched in 2011, Be More Than a Bystander breaks the silence surrounding violence against women and girls by providing tools, language and practical ideas about how to be more than a bystander, how to speak up and how to communicate that violence and abuse is not acceptable.

The Be More Than a Bystander program is made possible with the generous support of Founding Partners: The Government of Canada, BC Ministry of Children and Family Development, the Ending Violence Association of British Columbia and Encana Corporation; Supporting Partner: BC Federation of Labour and Municipal Partners: City of Vancouver and City of Surrey.
