The BC Lions Football Club announced this morning that international defensive linemen Michael Brooks, Craig Roh and Alex King have signed with the club.

Brooks joins the Lions after a short NFL stint with the Seattle Seahawks where he spent much of the 2013 season on the club’s practice roster, appearing in one regular season game. The former East Carolina grad was originally an undrafted free agent signing of the Detroit Lions before being claimed by the eventual Super Bowl champions that year.

Roh makes the trip north after spending 2013 training camp with the Carolina Panthers and a 2014 campaign with the Omaha Mammoth of the FXFL. The standout from Michigan enjoyed four productive seasons with the Wolverines appearing in 50 games tallying 80 solo tackles and seven sacks.

King impressed the Lions’ personnel department at a recent Las Vegas free agent camp and will look to earn a roster spot in training camp next month. The California native dressed for 27 games over three years at East Central University (Oklahoma) where he notched 53 solo stops, 12 for a loss along with eight career sacks.

Lions also announced that defensive lineman Macus Dixon has retired to pursue a coaching opportunity.
