During the scrimmage at Fan Fest today, the fans got to have a little taste of what the BC Lions are capable of this season.
On the field, Manny Arceneaux and Ronnie Yell were battling it out all practice for a chance at the ball. Manny made several moves and had some great catches down the field, but Ronnie also had an impressive pick as well.
Tim Vizzi was definitely one of the highlights of today’s practice, running smooth routes and making great cuts to throw off the defense and recording several catches down the middle for a sure touchdown.
On defense, Zach Minter successfully broke up a screen pass, while Michael Brooks and Myron Lewis were able to knock down the ball as well. T.J. Lee also recorded a pick at practice today.
The kickers were also looking polished today, as Richie Leone and Anthony Fera made all of their field goal attempts.
After the scrimmage, the players also had a chance to meet the fans for an autograph session.
The Lions will have a chance to show what they’ve got at the first pre-season game this Friday against the Calgary Stampeders.
