Travis Lulay returned to practice this week for BC after suffering a knee injury in Week 11 against Montreal, but will not get the start Saturday as the veteran pivot is still in the initial stages of making a full return to the field.
Rookie quarterback Jonathon Jennings will get his second start after an impressive performance last week in Edmonton throwing for 281 yards and two touchdowns. “I’m looking forward to hopefully showing them a win,” Jennings said of getting to play in front a home crowd at BC Place. The young pivot will lead the offence versus a Saskatchewan team that the Lions have defeated twice this season including a thrilling overtime win at BC Place in Week 2.
“I have a lot of confidence in this team,” said Jennings, noting he feels a lot more comfortable after getting that first start and a couple big touchdown passes under his belt.
