The BC Lions (5-10) play host to the Hamilton Tiger Cats (10-5) on Friday night at BC Place. Fans across BC and those heading down to the game can tune into the TSN 1040 pregame show starting at 5:00 pm.
Just three games remain in the regular season and the Lions are in a tight three-way race for the final playoff spot. A win on Friday night would go a long way to helping their chances, but it won’t come easy versus the East Division-leading Hamilton Tiger-Cats who did the Leos a favour last week with a win over Montreal.
Jeff Tedford’s squad comes into Friday’s tilt having dropped a pair of heartbreakers in the past two weeks, but have shown plenty of promise as a team on the rise. Quarterback Jonathon Jennings continues to play beyond his years and will need another big outing against one of the league’s top defenses if the Lions are going to be victorious this week.
