The BC Lions Football Club this morning announced that international receiver Terrell Sinkfield has signed with the team.
Sinkfield was most recently in camp with the Minnesota Vikings and spent two previous seasons in the CFL with Toronto (five games, 2014) and Hamilton (22 games, 2014-2015).
“Terrell is an experienced and seasoned receiver who brings both skill and depth to our offence,” said Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono. “He has excellent speed which is critical to our game and he can also be a key contributor on special teams as a returner.”
The Minnesota native and University of Northern Iowa graduate enjoyed a standout campaign in Hamilton last season hauling in 69 passes for 1,030 yards and six majors over 15 games. In addition, he racked up 132 yards on the ground, an average of 4.7 per carry, and also returned eight punts for 115 yards.

The club also announced that international defensive back Jeremy Harris has been added to the practice roster. Defensive lineman Andrew Hudson has been moved from the 46-man roster to the practice squad, while wide receiver Courtney Taylor has been released from the practice roster.
The Lions return to the practice field today as they prepare for a key West Division road tilt versus the Edmonton Eskimos on Friday night.
