Fans are invited to register their interest in bringing a vehicle to the Lions Tailgate and joining us before kickoff for an afternoon of football, food, music, games, and more.

Kickoff: 7:00 PM
Submitting the form does not guarantee a tailgate space. Successful applicants will receive an email with instructions to purchase a Tailgate Ticket Add-On. A space is secured once the add-on has been purchased.
Tailgate registration does not include a game ticket. All participants must have a valid ticket to enter BC Place for the game.
Additional arrival instructions and event details will be shared with confirmed participants before gameday.

When will registration open?
There is no open registration for tailgate spaces. Fans can register their interest by completing this form. Successful applicants will be contacted by email and given the opportunity to purchase a Tailgate Ticket Add-On.
Will registration be first come, first served?
Season Ticket Members will be given priority consideration. Remaining spaces will be offered based on availability.
How will I know if I have secured a tailgate spot?
Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email with instructions to purchase a Tailgate Ticket Add-On. Your tailgate space is secured once the add-on has been purchased.
What time does the tailgate lot open?
The tailgate lot opens at 2:00 PM. Registered vehicles may begin arriving at that time.
What time does the BC Lions Backyard Party open?
The BC Lions Backyard Party opens at 3:00 PM and closes at 7:00 PM.
What time do vehicles need to arrive?
Registered vehicles must arrive before 6:00 PM. No additional vehicles will be permitted into the tailgate lot after 6:00 PM.
Are tailgate spots assigned?
No. Tailgate spots will not be assigned in advance. Vehicles will be directed into available spaces by event staff upon arrival.
Can I save a spot for another vehicle?
Yes, but this must be communicated to the BC Lions before the event. Further contact information and instructions will be shared with confirmed participants.
Do multiple vehicles need to arrive together to tailgate beside one another?
Groups are encouraged to arrive together whenever possible. While event staff will do their best to accommodate requests, adjacent spaces cannot be guaranteed.
If I don’t have a vehicle, can I still participate in the Tailgate?
Yes, people are encouraged to participate without a vehicle! However, in order to purchase a Tailgate spot, you must bring a vehicle.
Can I leave my vehicle in the tailgate lot during the game?
Yes. Registered vehicles may remain in the tailgate lot while guests attend the game. Please note that no additional vehicles will be permitted into the lot after 6:00 PM.
Is overnight parking available in the Tailgate lot?
ICBC is providing free overnight parking in the tailgate lot. All vehicles must vacate the lot by September 13th, 2026 at 10am.
When should I head into BC Place?
Fans are encouraged to begin heading to BC Place at least 30 minutes before kickoff to allow enough time to enter the stadium.
What time does the tailgate end?
The tailgate area closes one hour after the game ends. The BC Lions Backyard Party closes at 7:00 PM.
Is alcohol permitted in the tailgate area?
Open alcohol containers are not permitted within the BC Lions Tailgate area.
Are BBQs permitted?
Yes. Propane BBQs are permitted. Charcoal BBQs and other open-flame cooking devices are not allowed.
Are open flames permitted?
No. Open flames are prohibited within the tailgate area.
What items are prohibited?
All guests are expected to follow the BC Lions Fan Code of Conduct. Please review the Fan Code of Conduct before attending the event.
Is smoking or vaping permitted in the tailgate area?
No. Smoking and vaping are prohibited within the tailgate area.
Will washrooms be available nearby?
Yes. Portable washrooms will be available on site.
Will garbage and recycling bins be provided?
Yes. Garbage and recycling bins will be provided throughout the tailgate area.
